Does LP Polster make custom cushions to measure?

Yes. We make custom cushions to your desired dimensions. In addition to simple rectangular cushions, special shapes, cutouts, curves and custom items are also possible.

Can I order custom motorhome and caravan cushions from LP Polster?

Yes. We make seat cushions, back cushions and sleeping areas for motorhomes, campers and caravans individually to measure.

What foam firmness is suitable for seat cushions?

The right foam firmness depends, among other things, on the use, cushion thickness and desired seating feel. For regularly used seating surfaces, we generally recommend a firmer, more shape-stable foam.

Which foam is suitable for back cushions?

A softer foam is usually used for backrests than for the seating surface. In addition, back cushions can be finished with padding and jersey to achieve a softer, more comfortable build.

Which cushions are suitable for both sitting and sleeping?

For motorhomes, caravans and campers, we can build cushions so they can be used both as a seating surface and as a sleeping area. The foam quality should be chosen to match the intended use.

Does LP Polster also make custom outdoor cushions?

Yes. We make custom cushions for garden furniture, lounge furniture, benches, boats and other outdoor areas.

What fabric is suitable for outdoor cushions?

For outdoor use, we recommend special outdoor fabrics such as Agora. These fabrics are designed for outdoor use, easy to care for and water-repellent. Nevertheless, sewn cushions are never fully waterproof in principle.

Are outdoor cushions completely waterproof?

We cannot guarantee 100% waterproofness for classic cushion covers. Especially at seams and zips, moisture can get into the cushion during prolonged wet conditions.

Can I order just custom-made foam?

Yes. You can also order just foam cuts to your individual dimensions from us.

Can I order just a new cover for my existing cushions?

Yes. We also make custom cushion covers to measure. For this, we need the exact dimensions and details of the desired version.

Can I send in my own fabric for processing?

Yes. You can send us your own cover fabric for processing. We handle the professional workmanship, but cannot accept liability for the quality or properties of fabric supplied by the customer.

Are the covers removable?

On request, we make removable covers with a zip that can be easily cleaned.

Does LP Polster also make faux leather covers?

Processing real leather is generally possible if the corresponding leather is provided by the customer.

Is real leather processing possible?

For many drivers, a high-quality cold foam mattress with a suitable firmness and sufficient height is recommended. It supports the spine and can reduce pressure points

Can I also order special shapes and cutouts?

Yes. We make cushions and mattresses with curves, angled cuts, wheel arch cutouts and individual contours to your dimensions.

Can cushions be made with an anti-slip underside?

Yes. On request, we can fit cushions with an anti-slip underside. This makes sense, for example, for benches, motorhomes, caravans and boats.

Can zips be positioned individually?

Yes. The position of the zip can be taken into account for custom-made items. A sketch or a photo with the desired position is helpful for this.

Yes. For complex special shapes, a precisely fitted template can be useful. On this basis, we can make the cushion according to the desired shape.

Can I receive fabric samples before ordering?

Yes. Fabric samples can be requested to help choose colour and material.

How do I get a quote for custom cushions?

Send us the dimensions, quantity and, if possible, photos or a sketch. Also let us know your desired fabric and – if already known – the desired foam quality. On this basis, we can prepare a cost estimate.

Is there a volume discount for larger orders?

For larger quantities, individual volume discounts are possible. We're happy to prepare a corresponding quote for this.

Can I visit LP Polster in person and get advice?

Since we only have one production facility, we unfortunately cannot offer personal customer consultations on site. However, advice is available by phone or email.
