Does LP Polster also make custom cushions to measure?

Yes. At LP Polster, we make custom cushions to measure for a wide range of projects. Whether seat, backrest, sleeping surface or a special cushion solution – dimensions, shape, cushion thickness, foam quality and fabric can be chosen to match your project.
Can I have a cushion made that doesn't fit your standard categories?

Yes. Not every project fits into a classic category like sofa, motorhome, boat or garden. We can also realise individual one-off items and special cushion projects. The best way is to send us a sketch or photos with the desired dimensions.
What cushion thickness is suitable for my individual project?

That depends on what the cushion is used for. For simple pads, 3 to 6 cm can already be enough. For regularly used seating areas, we often recommend 8 to 12 cm. For lounge, sleeping or especially comfortable seat cushions, 12 to 15 cm or more can also make sense.
What foam firmness should I choose for my cushion?

The right foam quality depends on use, cushion thickness, body weight and desired comfort. A seating surface usually needs more stability, while back or sleeping cushions can be made softer. If you're unsure, we're happy to help you choose.
Are custom shapes and special productions possible?

Yes. In addition to classic rectangular cushions, we also make curves, angled cuts, angled corners, cutouts and other special shapes. Many individual projects can be realised from a precise drawing or template.
Can LP Polster make from my own sketch or template?

Yes. You can provide us with a dimensioned sketch or template. This is especially helpful for unusual shapes or custom constructions. Photos of the project can also help us better understand the desired version.
Can I order just a custom cushion cover?

Yes. If a suitable cushion core already exists, we can also make covers individually to measure. You can choose from various fabrics, colours and finishes.
Can I send in my own fabric for my individual cushion project?

Yes. You can also send us your own cover fabric for processing. We handle the professional workmanship. However, we cannot accept liability for the quality, durability and properties of fabric supplied by the customer.
What extras are possible for custom cushions?

Depending on the project, various finishes can be implemented. These include, for example, anti-slip undersides, zips, padding, jersey and other individual workmanship details. Which version makes sense depends on the specific application.
Can I have several cushions made as a matching set?

Yes. We make both individual custom cushions and complete cushion sets. Seating surfaces, backrests, side cushions or several individual elements can be planned to match each other and made with the same or different cover fabrics.
How can I ask whether my individual cushion project is feasible?

Just send us photos, a sketch and the approximate dimensions of your project. Also describe what the cushions will be used for and what ideas you have for fabric, colour and seating comfort. This lets us assess how your project can best be realised.
Are the covers removable?

On request, we make removable covers with a zip that can be easily cleaned.
Can I configure my custom cushion or cover online?

Yes. You can configure many custom cushions and covers directly online at LP Polster. Dimensions, shape, cushion thickness, foam quality, fabric, colour and various extras can be chosen individually.
If your project can't be represented via our configurator, you can send us your enquiry with photos, a dimensioned drawing or a template. We'll review together how your individual cushion idea can be realised.

Compact solution for areas where little cushion height is needed. -
5–8 cm – Bench pads & occasional seating
Good comfort for benches and cushions not used permanently. -
8–10 cm – Regularly used seat cushions
High seating comfort and a good choice for daily use. -
10–12 cm – Seat, lounge & comfort cushions
Very comfortable and ideal for cosy seating and lounge areas. -
12–15 cm+ – Deep seats, sleeping & lounge cushions
Especially comfortable for generous seating and sleeping areas. -
